Hey everyone,

So, as the summer is rolling around and more players will join, this means more hackers.

So why is cleensweep season ending for EU?

I have been participating in the EU cleansweep since week 1. Every single session, less and less people show up.
Also we find less and less hackers every day.
Yesterday we were struggling to find hackers, I think we only found 4?

So to answer your question; the majority of the hackers are gone on the EU servers, for now. And barely anyone is showing up to help us.

As a group of 7 we reported and banned 6 hackers I believe..... very iffy on that but basically the fact that we had such a hard time finding hackers, and sometimes when people used /report (about 1/4 times) the person wasn't even hacking and it was very difficult to do our job.

Despite this if there is an obvious increase in hackers during the summer months the moderators will come up with something to combat this.

We continue the Cleansweeps in a region until we can no longer efficiently take care of hackers, or there is a higher need for a Cleansweep in another region. In most cases, we'll just carry on Cleansweeps in two regions but since we have had a harder time finding hackers on EU, we're going to move elsewhere for now.

Don't worry, moderators will still be handling every single report abuse and /report on the EU servers, the only thing that will be changing is the fact that we won't congregate to catch them.

It's not over either. I can assure you Operation Cleansweep EU will be starting back up again someday.

In addition to what everyone else has said, we've always scheduled Cleansweeps with start and end dates. Part of it is to allow people to rest and recuperate, and part of it is to allow us to decide whether a region still needs Cleansweeps to occur in that region. We try to have a rotating schedule to allow us to address each area, and the downtime allows us to reorient with that in mind.
