Omg, so relatable. It is literally IMPOSSIBLE to go easy on Fly (Butterfly). Seriously. We go full out in practices and in races. It may sound weird, but it's literally impossible to row easy.
Oh that's not too bad. I've barely gotten under a minute.1:18.57 sirr
6:30pm -4:29amSure!
4:30am
You wake up. No
4:45am
You check your bag, and start heading down to the boathouse. No time for eating food.
5:00am
You begin to load the rowing shells down to the docks, and you climb into the boat.
5:15am - 7:00am
You row for 2 hours with about 2 minutes for a break every couple of thousand metres, and sometimes you do several races with little opportunity to recover. There's no such thing as going "full out" as that is what every stroke has to be in rowing.
Some of the pieces include several thousand long metre pieces at full speed.
7:15am
You get food at the caf.
7:30-8:15
You get ready for school.
8:15-1:15
School.
2:00-4:00
More rowing practice.
5:30
Dinner.

Text the beautiful Ryan for hours on end wondering why is so much cooler than you
Really? I thought all practices are this hard. Well, I guess our coach likes to kill us.1:18 for a 100 free? How are you able to do all of those sets? At best my 100 was around 1:03, and I can't finish those sets. In fact our sets are way easier.
Don't mean to sound rude but I don't believe that those are the sets you do. I'm in Varsity 2 the second highest competitive swimming level, at our team. Here was our sets for today.
Warm up
(50 flutter kick, 50 swim + 100 kick + 100 swim) x3
50 flutter was on the :55, 50 swim on the 45, 100 kick on the 2:00. 100 swim on the 1:30
Progression Set
(25 Breast on the :30 , 50 free on the :45, 100 IM on the 2:00) x5
Main Set :
(100 free on the 1:30, 100 breast kick on the 2:10 100 back on the 1:45, 100 fly on the 2:00) x9
We didn't have time for a cool down today, we went a bit overtime lol so we just did like 10 pushups and left
What are your intervals for each of those sets you posted above?
His was my practice today. Look for yourself at the interval. And I don't remember the one yesterday.Yeah we have dry land twice a week, once on saturday and once on wednesday. Our dryland is 45 minutes to an hour, and generally 20 minutes of it are a run, and every now and then we run the mile. The rest of the time we do abs which are basically abdominal workouts, and then we hop in the water and do maybe a couple hundreds on an easier interval.
You still didn't answer my question though - what interval are your sets on, and do you complete all of the sets
