MCGamer has no free speech

cmon guys we all know mcgamer is a lovely place. Not only that, we have:
-Very great mods (the best in the world)
-No hackers/togglers at all in mcgamer

Let's not forget about the number of times people have been banned for the silliest reasons!

The only bad encounter I've really had was back when eZ was allowed I said it to this 4 team of mods and kids who were in waiting that I wrecked. Then the waiting kids said "don't disrespect staff" and I told them it wasn't against the rules. Then I got the mods telling me to "drop it". Other then that, I got banned for hacking falsely but I disputed that.

Nowadays logic > I will post 100 report abuses in a day, literally spent 24 hours on the server just to suck up onto the Sr.Staff.

Is it sad that I almost got mod by doing this? I would've had it in the bag if it wasn't for my bans cx

To refer back to the title of the thread, MCGamer has free speech, it's just that the moderators who lock your threads already know how the thread is going to turn out, because they've seen the exact same repetitive thing over and over and they know for a fact it's going to lead to trouble.

That being said, many mods also need to talk to us about why they are shutting things down and such, I don't know if people PM the mods about why their thread was locked, but hopefully they do, and what should happen is the moderators giving a detailed explanation of why they locked it.

If we get better at openly communicating, all our problems would be solved, but no one's willing to start…

IDK, it's just the same "lol this server r̶o̶x̶ sux" joke. As tired a concept as some of the "Kumbaya" stuff. I wish there was more originality now :/

The main thing that struck a nerve with me was the fact that so many people are obsessed with the notion that somehow croe boosts and just because he's a Sr. Mod he gets away with it.

Tell me, how is teaming with one or two friends boosting? Everyone plays with their friends. In this case, Croe happens to play a lot with Vanessa because they like to do things together and one of those things happens to be MCSG. Croe is the better player, therefore he wins. I play with my IRL friends all the time and most of the time I beat them and people aren't harassing me about boosting!

Bottom line, not everything is to be blamed on the staff. Heck, I admit we are a bit suppressive on certain topics. If you make a post that is directed negatively toward the staff as a whole, any staff member individually, or even any group of people it WILL be removed because it's rude and not needed.

Free speech here is a touchy subject because there are just so many negative attitudes around here that it's hard sometimes to determine flat out inconsideration from misunderstanding.

Here's how most of these situations you mentioned turn out anyway.

> Minimods and those without opinions of their own flood in

Ok, the thing is croe plays 6 player games with a teammate who is (let's face it) garbage. If I played 6 player games with my brother and got 100-200 wins off it I would be considered a booster by most of the community lmao.

Here is what the MCGamer community is.

There is no freedom of speech for a few reasons. Children play this game, MCGamer does not follow the constitution because they are a multi continent business. For some reason the whole community says "I HATE HACKERS" But when they have a prime opportunity to record one, they just leave the game saying "Someone else will get him." If you help report hackers, let's say we get 30 of you to make 100 reports a month (Just an example. Possibly 60 people report like 50 times) We just banned 3k hackers. 3k HACKERS!

So understand if half of you actually did something, maybe poked a mod who has the ability, record using OBS (Which is free, hardly any frame drop, and looks good.) Bandicam or any other free recording system and reported people, we would have a lot less hackers if all of you crybabies actually did something.

So i challenge anyone who reads this, to report 10 hackers in the month of June, and continue that, maybe more, for the rest of your time at MCGamer. 10 hackers a month is not to much. Like this if you take the challenge, or just straight up take the challenge. Eitherway you'd make the server a better place and this community would have one less thing to cry about.

This is one of the reasons i've seen the staff throw around numerous times, and i agree, there are a lot of children on these servers. But i dont think thats the reason i should be respectful, or kind and caring.

I was on AU Open Mic Night the other day, and some guy couldnt sing a song because it had one curse word in it. One curse word. Even when he agreed he'd just skip over the word, which was a minor curse word at best, he was shot down and the staff replied "We dont accept anything inappropriate. At All."

That's total BS. This is the internet. If i wanna tell little 12 year old timmy to kill himself because he took the stone sword tree on Valleyside and murdered me with it, then timmy just needs to re-evaluate his life decisions, that way no one tells him to kill himself again. If anyone here is ever offended by what someone says, or how someone acts, suck it up. Simple as that. People shouldnt have to be babied around. This is the internet, a place where you could run into someone who doesnt like you for absolutely no reason at all and will not hesitate to send death threats just because your name looks stupid, or you suck at pvp.

I wish we had a bit more freedom in what we could say, and mods were around to filter out the extreme stuff (like if someone linked like videos of a adult nature or something idk).

but maybe thats why im not the owner yet :^)
