Where are my cultured peeps at?

Did you see it?
Thoughts?

It just amazing me that this was really a historical moment when a movie proves you can record LIVE! It was really a first, and hopefully wont be the last. I wouldnt mind seeing more plays done like Les Mis.

My thoughts:
I LOVED it. Omg did I love it so very much. I have seen a couple versions, on tv and in play and just by audio (I think Ive liked 10th ann the best). But this one might take the cake. Sure some of the voices dont compare to big professional singers but the acting with the live singing.. it was just.. astounding. The new level of feeling and realism was amazing. I am not ashamed to say I cried.... 3 times... not including the last 15 minuets of the movie which I was holding back, trying not to do that wrenching sob thing and play my cool next to my wife and mom.
Man did I love it. I cant wait to see it again.
A lot of people were afraid of Russle Crowe and I was a little to to be honest. He wasnt AMAZING but he was better than I expected! Stars was actually pretty awesome! So kudos to that.
So in my opinion it is one of (or the) best Les Mis performance I have seen and the best movie of the year, maybe longer.

I didnt want to say what is was because you should just not post here if you dont know what I am talking about >.>
But I will explain anyway.
Les Miserables was a book, adapted into a musical, and what I am referring to in this thread is the new movie adaption that came out Christmas day. Its most famous song was I dreamed a dream (Susan Boyle sang it).
Here is the trailer
