Do you need it, or want it?

Everyday, I'll find someone complaining, or witness an argument, and find that those complaining and arguing, are doing so for pretty much no reason. And I see this a lot.

This may come down to personal affairs, or personal preferences, but usually, it's because someone wants something. I feel many problems are created because people want things - just to want things. That may sound a little stupid, "want things just to want things", but unfortunately, that is the case. People are always caught up wasting time on little things, and ultimately, they avoid productivity. Drama, laziness, procrastination, all things I, and I'm sure many, see often. Trust me, I'm no exception, and many aren't.

But yeah, that's what you do, you see something you don't like, you complain right? Seems reasonable, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, right? Of course.

However, opinions tend to be "facts" at times. So much so, that people believe they're entitled to anything they want. Sure, your opinion, not anything you want. From what I've seen, in many cases, people "wanting things" will cause problems, and make a dreadful situation, out of a reasonable one. This is something that can be avoided, by thinking, and asking yourself a question, do you need it, or do you want it?

You simply don't need everything you see, and if you walk away, you'll find yourself better off. You're not just benefiting yourself, but those around you as well, your community, a community. This reduces many problems, on many levels. So yeah, just ask yourself.

Waet dood!1 You must be doing this becuz you WANT a beter commune! Hipcrit!

Yeah, I do, who doesn't? I'm always up for improvements, many are.

TL;DR: Think to yourself: do you need it, or do you want it? You might want to read it though.

When you strip everything down to barebones, and I don't mean food and water. I mean life's essentials.

Love
Family
Friends
Emotions
Memories

e.t.c.

Life's essentials branch off into things you can't even imagine, these need to be so complete that everything counts, so I think people want/need it depending on their situation.

But, materialistic wants and things like that (stuff that when I read the thread you skipped over) doesn't satisfy anything, remember, we're still on barebones but those barebones need to be filled with marrow, and that marrow is what we truly need, not the gristle that comes with materialistic wants and needs.

Satisfy you're essentials, and you'll find you won't need to ask for much anymore.

It's not about striving for what you don't have, it is about striving for what you want.

Law of Attraction, kiddos.
