Same here I got banned for abuse and right now I really do regret for what I've done.. Anyway, you seem very mature
Our Minecraft servers are offline but we will keep this forum online for any community communication. Site permissions for posting could change at a later date but will remain online.
I understand how mod can be a lot of work, but I do not think I am making a bias decision. I have seen other forum posts by moderators saying that being a mod is hard work, there are annoyances, but at the end of the day, it's worth it. I am not one to give up just because something is harder than expected, and I hate giving up. When I make a commitment, I feel that it is extremely important to stick to it, no matter what. I don't want to just be known in the community, I want to make a difference, and help people.Same here I got banned for abuse but I wasn't doing anything wrong. You seem like you are ready for the community, and that is good, but to put it in perspective it is probably more work than you expect. And if some mods try to go against that claim, well then they probably aren't doing their job correctly.
Don't make it your goal to be mod, just try to be known in the community, and then you can decide if it is for you. I was so determined to be a mod, but once the few perks got repetitive, I asked myself, "is this for me?"
The answer was no, although I could do the work, and it wasn't too much of a pain, I felt like others were getting more out of it than I was.
All I'm saying is to talk to other mods, and find the pros and cons to being a mod, since although I loved Shelbys post about all the best times on the server, being mod is not all fun times.
Don't make decisions with bias.
