That is not a 1.8 skin file. I would suggest you go to http://www.minershoes.com and do the followings:

► Type in your username in the "Enter a Minecraft username i.g Honeydew".
► Hit "Import Minecraft.net Skin".
► Goto the middle of the screen you should see 6 boxes.
► Hit the second box on the bottom and there should be a "Download to Computer" button.
► Hit that, and your skin should download in a 1.8 format.

HUGE UPDATE: I will be revamping and redesigning this thread into a more awesome / professional looking thread and updating the application format.

PLEASE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING:

► Any applications posted at this point will not be read or receive any reply message towards them.

► The users that are waiting for there requested items will be delayed for at least 1 or 2 days.

► A further reply will be posted stating that the revamp has been done and will have improvements as it is now.


This should take no more than 24 hours for the revamp to happen unless there are long renders or messed up font and color typing issues.
