Oh and tell your staff members to stop hanging out in DND all the time :p
Seems to be a very shortage of staff because of this .__.
I've noticed that a lot too. I myself dislike going into DND channels, but if you ever see me in one, feel free to poke me because I'll usually respond if I'm not afk c:

I support this idea.

I usually bounty people 13 points to give them bad luck. >_>

that doesnt work

Yes the bounty system is a really good way to communicate with spectators.
One time I was in a game and it was 4 players left and the game was taking forever, there were 3 spectators.
So I typed in chat saying: Bounty me 10 points if a player is North, 11 points if East, 12 points if South or 13 points if West.
They bountied me 11 points so I went East and there was a team stuck in a trap.
I won the game :)

Sounds effective to me!

Better than someone saying "nice hack, ban pls!1" and having the guy toggle so us staff would have to follow for a long time heh :^D

I know its better to get them caught by a staff member to get them banned. But a lot of the times I just say: "turn off your hacks or ill report you". Because I can't record at the time (I do do /report) but sometimes they really turn it off and I can win the game. :)

/bounty NotAHacker 11

Mwahahahahaha now everyone thinks he's a hacker. Decent idea, yes. Bullet proof, definitely not. It's difficult to actually know if someone is hacking, and a lot of people would ruin the system like "he killed me from like 1 ENTIRE block! Baaaaaaannnnned!"

I see what you mean and I agree. Though, they won't be banned just because of having 11 pts :p
It just means keep an eye on the player to see if they do or not. And if you're experienced enough to
say they are, then slap them with a total bounty of 22 pts (Otherwise known as confirmed hacker) ^o^

That or shout "22! NoHacksJustNodus 22!"

Yeah, once again, it would waste our time recording people who aren't even hacking. Personally, I'd check someone out but if they weren't hacking from what I saw I'd move on. We need to be spending time on users with 20+ reports than someone with an 11 point bounty. As it stands now, the /report command is a way better solution.

My point is that people with "11 point bounty" would be watched. not 'recorded' thus you wouldn't have that problem initially, and again it's not just meant for mods but as a global alert system during games to let people know to stay away from this user until it has been dealt with.

For me I tend to use the bounty system and call in a mod from TS, that way globally in game people know there's a hacker running round thinking he's cool to then find out he's been perm banned from the server :p Quite fun to watch depending on who it is, or at least that's my opinion. Moving on, you understand what I mean by that right?

Yeah if there was some universal warning about hackers that everyone knew just so they could stay away from them maybe; however, as staff I'd much rather use the reports list.

Well that kinda is (I mean in game) :p
It's just another way of communication. If you can't talk what do you use? si-language right?
Get where i'm going?
