To make gradients get a program like paint.net or gimp. Use the magic wand tool to select the area that you want the gradient to be on. Select two colours on the palette that you want. Then select the gradient tool and drag it the direction and place you want it. Enjoy. :D

Using the magic wand, rectangle select or any other selection tool, click on the part of the item you want a gradient on, then adjust the magic wand tolerance accordingly. Get two colors on your pallet, these will be in the gradient. Now click on the gradient icon, and select which kind of gradient you want, and just drag until you see what is right to you.

erm :/ sorry to bother, but gimp doesn't have a tool like paint.net, can you maybe make a vid? I can go on another computer another day and do the steps on there
