Do You Consider "gg" Trash Talk?

I think the title speaks for itself but recently, a player said to me "Why do you trash talk when you win a game?"
I was a little confused as to how I "trash talked" and so I asked him what makes you think I was trash talking after the game. He told me I said "gg." I was confused because I thought "gg" meant good game as a way to show sportsmanship since I've been saying it for 2 years now after pretty much each game I win/play. So now I'm asking the community if they consider "gg" trash talking...​

Ohhh... that's how other people see it as because I have never heard of "gg" as Get Good, only Good Game.

gg and gf are actually meant as a compliment (good game | good fight), so I don't see any point in considering those as trash talk.

There are times where it is appropriate, and times where it is not.
For example, if I cleaned up to win a Survival Games, saying "gg" is an easy way to be hated.
"gf" will usually not annoy people, but only say it if you mean it.
And when hackers say "gg" or "gf" it just encourages people to ban them.

"gg10" is rude, so is "ez", "rekt", "l2p" and any other trash talk like that.

Saying "gg" in itself is not a problem in almost any circumstance

Depends on the context. GG by itself means good game. "l2p newbi! GG!" is trashtalking.

I believe that people should only say "GG" if it was actually a Good Game. Being a staff member, targeting is a big issue for me when I don't disguise. To be chased for 15 minutes and to get killed, only to see "GG". No. Just No.

it really depends, myself i find "gg" as a bit rood "gf" is good but when i get teamed on on get told "gf" that's not good you know
