The truth about PvP

Pvping in minecraft isn't hard. 1.7 is also minecraft, and servers that don't update to 1.8 actually have developers with brains. I don't want to start a pointless argument xD

I'm just going to put this out here, if you want to rebut start a PM with me but what are these "developers with brains" on other servers going to do when 1.9 comes out?

As far as the OP goes, I couldn't have said it better myself. Winning one fight against someone does not mean you're "better" (unless it's Eden | Radiant cuz she's ezzzzzz just kidding i love u dont eat me)

You so actually mcsg how we call is these days is based a lot on strategy but I dissagree with your point in 1vs1 because as you probably saw a lot of clips i guess you see that is you land a good rod the guy is pretty much dead is you click fast enough to land a 3-5 hit combo depending on the ground on ping advantage, I am not saying that is totally dissagree with yiur post you are very right with it but I just dissagree with the fact of pvping not that important because it is important against good players

i mean they could leave it to 1.7. its really not insanly difficult to allow both clients to be used. you can make it so players can use from 1.7-"1.9" if you really wanted to. its something that a pot pvp servers are working on. so it could happen.

It's true that's possible, however you won't be able to use the features 1.8 and 1.9 would have to offer as you still need to support 1.7

You might not care, but the developers might, there are usually a lot of features which can boost the performances of the server, or just cool new gameplay addition such as new blocks. Even though you might care about this, it's always better for a server to update to the newest version.
