In the movie, I liked Thorin, but in the book my favourite character(s) were Fili and Kili. Radagast the Brown wasn't in the book at all, and Fili and Kili had much more interesting roles.

Yeah. Both of them had dead spots where nothing interesting was going on, but the book was more interesting (was to be expected)
