Enchanted dilemma ...

Hello Tributes!

This thread is all about enchanting in MCSG. When MCSG was just updated to 1.8, we couldn't enchant, because we needed Lapis. However, recently, all Enchating Tables in MCSG have 3 pieces of Lapis in it; We can enchant again!

I don't know if enchanting in MCSG is a good idea, so hopefully you guys can give your opinion about this! I'm in doubt because of the following advantage and disadvantage:

• Advantage: Fishing for levels is awesome! Furthermore, how cool is it to have knockback on your sword?!
• Disadvantage: I think a diamond sword with sharpness is too strong.

Let me know what you think of it! And do you have any other (dis)advantages?

To be clearly honest I think enchanting is completely fine. The thing that annoyes me a lot is that you can get enchanting bottles over a sponsor ship, which is a really big advantage you could get over a player. Fishing is fair because it's harder to get levels so let's say you worked hard for you levels and you fairly got your enchanted sword/bow. Having 2 extra ench. bottles is way too over-powered. I would remove the bottles from sponsor option. Anyways cool topic for a thread

I think that's good idea but as you said diamond sword enchanted will be too strong and who find the enchanting table first will be the winner . I mean the player who find first the enchanting table will have the lapis that u need for enchant and he will be advantaged

I always try to enchant any sort of weapon or armour I have. Personally, I'd just enchant my weapon (usually a sword), using the highest of a level 3 enchant. Generally, it's a level 1.

I love the enchanting system how it is. The enchanting bottles are soo useful when you are underpowered, and most of the time the xp bottles don't even give you a full level.
