Only if you are a non-donator it will show the rank based on your forum messages; if you are a donator, it will says your rank (same for mods, Sr.Mods and Admins).

Looks like your question has been answered for the most part. If you're not a donor/staff member, the title is based off your number of forum messages. If you are, it shows your rank!
