First of all, your mute was not in vane. You most likely broke the rules —most likely without knowing of it— and got mute. Regardless, I don't think you can appeal your mute nor anything similar as a matter of fact.

I once was banned, and the ban lasted 1 hour. I was told that it was more favorable to talk to a Sr.Staff rather than wait 2-3 days for a reply on my ban dispute, since my ban lasted so little that once they'd reply, it was a futile attempt to get unbanned because of so.

I just recommend you wait for the span your mute lasts to end.

You forgot to lock. Though...

As I stated on my post, isn't posting a ban dispute for a mute redundant? The span his mute lasts probably will have ended already once he gets a reply on his Mute Dispute.

Well, people dispute bans that have expired, so I assume you can do the same for mutes. If the mute is under a day, though, it doesn't affect you anyways so I wouldn't worry about it.
