but yeah i kinda liked the game i played with no tier 2s, no one had op stuff,
but then again its still a 4 hit with stone sword..

rod in 1.8 doe

The rod is out of MCSG's control. The only way to fix that is probably by using the default pack which I despise.

You're right. And one reason 1.8 is so "bad" for PvP is that most 1.8 users have fought mostly 1.7 users.
