Nice thread. I feel this was hinted towards 1 user?

Firstly, lets stop bashing on the moderators, or the hackers, or the community, or the V2 update or something which we've all heard a million odd times.

I disagree. Sure, it's annoying but sometimes a slap back to reality is good. Besides, when updates don't come, everyone wonders the same thing. The only difference between everyone is the complainers are either ballsy enough to say it like it is, or plain stupid.

The thing is, there have been dozens, if not hundreds of threads complaining about the exact same issues. And they're exactly that - COMPLAINTS, with no suggestions or new information. There are a few here and there, but there are so many that are repeating exactly what other people have said dozens of times.

i have plenty of ideas for threads, but whenever i seem the make a thread it gets few replies and then is washed away by everything else. besides, people don't recognize me as a serious forumer, so i probably shouldn't even dip my toes into what, apparently, i'm not good enough for.

most of the good thread ideas are just questions that posters pick sides on, and the discussion goes from there. all you gotta do is take an opinion and put an argument to it, and bam you have an argument/discussion based thread. it can be about anything.

threads about current events or topics usually end up in users talking about their opinions, and we all know how radical opinions can get on here, and even the smallest whiff of an ember leads to a staff member locking the thread before it turns into a raging blaze.

you have to ask yourself - what do you want to see in a good thread? what makes a good thread? what are examples of good threads?
i have my own ideas of what i want to see in threads, but from past experiences my attempts to make a thread that i thought was interesting ended up not working out

-a ton of "General PvP Tips and Tricks" that look like someone just copy-pasted the script of Huahwi's tip video
-enough people that realized that anything in the Feature Suggestions, no matter how supported it was, is never going to be added
Lol so true. People just want to make a thread and feel that they accomplished something...
Like seriously bro...
"When you PvP a lot, you can assign a sprint key so it automatically sprints for you"
No sugar?

"When you're low on health, remember to run away or die"
Really? Wow.

I've actually seen this in a PvP "tricks and tips" thread that was posted a long ago, can't remember the link tho.

Interesting...and I'd have to agree with Mooclan (hehe) people always come to rant before trying to do something about they rant about, which is a tad bit obnoxious in my opinion. I'd also have to agree with you, Creeper, as there truly aren't many threads that generate real discussion, however, I do come across some threads that are "real" discussion worthy.

There used to be many really good threads, but half of the good threads we make now people flame on and it gets locked, it just annoys me especially with the all the dumb troll accounts...

The best thing to do about this is to keep an open and positive mindset. If we all have a negative outlook, we will only create negative things. If we stay positive and put effort into making a difference, things will change :)
