This idea has been brought forward numerous of times. I would have to agree with KitMencha. The AU region does not have as many hackers on the server than other regions like US and EU.
Although there are not as many hackers in AU, the players seem to break the rules in other ways. This is something that I am hoping to discuss with other staff members so that we can help solve the issues with the AU community, whilst including those who are willing to help :)

As mentioned, we will keep an eye out for toxicity. Toxicity, as I said, will be logged, and we will use this information to decide.

With permission from Col_StaR, we bring you the Unofficial AU Cleansweep
Hello!

If you know, I am an avid AU player. I am in an AU clan, and honestly enjoy it a lot. Recently, we have seen quite an increase of hackers on AU MCGamer servers. For that reason, we will be hosting this unofficial Cleansweep (We, as in regular nonranked members) to help maintain hacker levels on the AU MCGamer to try and fix what we love. We need to take a part in this, to help the staff, and take one step closer to a better community, and better servers.

How will they work Tiger?
The first week (next week) will be an investigation week, and we will study hacker timings on AU servers. Also, feel free to tell us the time below, but give the time format in GMT. At these times, my teamspeak (overwolf-45yy.typefrag.com) will be used until I can get a dedicated TeamSpeak for the cleansweeps itself. On the hacker times, players will go on the TeamSpeak, and begin moving from server to server catching hackers, and we will keep track in a spreadsheet, with all information, and if all goes accordingly, we will be sending it to a staff member to look at it and treat the hackers successfully (that is if no Mods are in the cleansweep with us).

How will we know the results?
I will be making a thread weekly taking a look at the results, and putting them here. The only information to be disclosed are Thank-Yous for participants, number of hackers banned per session, and total number of hackers.

Keep in mind that to join, much similar to the EU Cleansweep, you must agree to this:

By joining the AU Cleansweep, you agree that you will actively participate in catching hackers on the AU network and that you will not be found breaking any of the MCGamer rules which can be found at http://mcgamer.info.

Violating these rules will get you treated normally. It being a cleansweep has no total difference.

Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Will the Cleansweep ever end?
Answer: The operation will continue as long as it is needed. If there is ever a point when the amount of
hackers on AU is low, it may end, but it will start as soon as the hacker problem is present again.

Question: Do I have to talk?
Answer: No, you don't have to talk, but you can if you'd like.

Question: Do I have to record?
Answer: Yes, we are only allowing those who can record to join; however, if you want to help out, you can still message us people you suspect are hacking.

Question: Is there a US or EU Cleansweep?
Answer: Don't worry, the other regions will not be neglected. Currently, the staff are testing other solutions for each region. There is an EU cleansweep, which can be found here:
http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/threads/operation-clean-sweep.141890/

Question: Why do you post all the times when hackers can see it?
Answer: Most hackers will not check the forums, and won't even know that we are there. In addition, we do impromptu Cleansweeps as well.

Have a wonderful rest of your week!
~Tiger

This will not be live until we have enough staff to lead Cleansweeps without me. I am an EU player, so I will try my best to be online, even if it is the early morning for me.
Below are important people who would like to see this.
Remember, shoot me a PM if you can host the Cleansweeps.

Sounds good, I'm will try to do it :D.

As stated above, please message/poke me on TeamSpeak with the times where you notice a lot of toxicity and hacking.

As someone that frequently plays on the Australian servers. I can truly say that seeing this thread really brings me some sort of happiness. I have played 32 games on the AU servers and countless times I have encountered a variety of different hacks, such as some of the well-known ones; Kill Aura, Click Aimbot, No-Knockback and Dolphin.

I dislike it when some members of the community say to us AU players that we have barely any hackers. I think this is just wrong, we are a region too, just like EU, US and CA and we have hackers too. I would be willing to help in any way, shape or form. :)

I was wondering about this earlier today, I then proceeded to ask KitMencha about how the idea seemed. He said; 'In regards to an AU Cleansweep. I proposed the idea a little bit ago but the idea was turned down. Hacking doesn't seem to be AU's main issue, it's the toxicity of the community. We're still thinking about how to solve said issue.'

Now I personally agree with that statement, the other region's have a lot more hackers in them. I feel they need to be attended to first before us, a US Cleansweep is very much a priority it seems, and I am happy with that. At this point in time, I believe the AU community can deal with hackers as a minor problem and it is able to be contained.
I do agree with you when you state that one of AU's problems is the toxicity of the community. In my merely 32 games here on the MCGamer Network, I have encountered Hackers, like I had previously stated and also toxic users. I have done nothing to them what-so-ever, but yet they still feel the need to speak to me as if I am a trash can. If the AU Staff Team can get the toxicity of the AU community down a notch. The place would feel a lot nicer and a lot more welcoming to new players such as myself.

Like I said YourAverageTiger; great idea. I hope that the whole scheme runs through nice and smoothly without any faults.

I do not know if I mentioned this before, but we have a Sr. Staff overwatch. Everyone, please welcome Sheldor to the team. Spots are still open [STAFF] to help in leading the Cleansweep.

It is great and my honor to tell you that the cleanweep is beginning to take full action. We are still figuring out times, and now, we got 4 leaders, which can be contacted for important leaders. These leaders are:
~ ME
~ AnomalousDyna
~ OhFancy
and, our newest one yet, please welcome:
ViolentKitten

Cleansweeps, as stated before, will be held impromptu until the time comes where we have 5+ times. Most cleansweeps will be from 5PM+, as further studies revealed there is more hackers and toxicity present at the time.
