TeamSpeak 3 - Suggestion! [Please Read]

Hi guys!

I was actually in the waiting room waiting for my interview until i actually thought about a suggestion for the MCG TeamSpeak server.

If you for example could speak two different languages you should have 2 more ranks with the flags of the language you can speak, so the members know who to ask about their problems if they don't speak English.

I just made this suggestion because there is many members that does not speak English so it would be very helpful.

I think that's really smart actually. For instance if someone speaks Spanish, they won't have to waste time looking for someone to help, they just find the flag for their country. Except when more than one country speaks a language, that might be confusing, so maybe symbols for each language, something recognizable.

Well, there is a setting on Teamspeak which allows you to display flags from which country you are from.

That usually does not work as some people can speak multiple languages, and you can't tell that just by looking at some ones flag. But, I just would like to let you know, that is a thing.

As for the suggestion, us as Moderators have a list of staff members that speak different languages.

Usually if we come across a situation where, we don't speak the same language as the person that is in need of help, we contact a Staff member that can speak that language and deal with the situation.

Contacting any Staff member is completely fine, because we can contact the person that can help you if you can't speak English.

Still, I think symbols that are easily recognizable for each language would be better than the 8 country's flags that speak that language.

I would have to admit, this idea seems quite useful for the community. And I am in favour towards doing so. However, there are staff members who have plenty of ranks besides their names, and it could be pretty difficult to spot them that way, but it would still certainly work if it were possible. However, I think of it easier if the staff members simply state which languages they are capable of speaking in their description. Correct me if I'm wrong, but staff members do have control over their descriptions as well, so it would be less of a hassle on putting ranks on each of the staff members that are capable of speaking more than two languages. So instead, just simply encourage them to put their skills in their description!

You are right, we could just add a rank for the languages we know, sort of like the "poke if needed" rank.

Yea, that should be great.
Because the biggest problem is that many of the MCG members can't talk English and they can't get help because they for example speaks Turkish.
It would be nice if they added some ranks or just writed at the description what language that can talk.
And if u have the Turkish flag u need too speak it fluent.
