The world will end one day... Just not nowI strongly believe the world will end when its ready to!
It will end when God wants it toNobody really knows when, it can happen in the next few seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, centuries..
So we all just have to wait. That's why every time you wake up in the morning, pray to God that you survived another dayHe already planned it, and it's a secret to everyone.
Well then it's a rumor going on spreading...The Mayans never predicted that the world would end. Their calendar simply ended on December 21st 2012, and that could mean anything. Maybe they just got tired of writing a calendar and gave up on it. They did make remarkable calculations on the sun's positions though, which has remained accurate to this day.
Nice theory by Micr2 (gives applause). Micr2 has probably given our answer. But everyone here has to post on the 20th. Cheers! There are so many theories as to how the world will end. This is one of the theories I have heard:
Every so 5, 300 years, all the planets in our solar system line up. So its a cycle, its happened before. Now this is the funny/stupid part, they say that when all the planets line up, which is the 21st, I think, it will cause the earth to rotate in the other direction, which would then bring us closer to the sun. And that the poles will also reposition.
Let's now rethink that theory.
The poles will never reposition themselves, because our moon stabilizes them. Because of our moon, we have seasons. The reason why waves happen is because of the moon. So as long as the moon is around, the earths polar axis will be the same for the next googolplex+ years. Its the same for the earth rotation, the moon controls it.
Another theory:
A huge asteroid will come and hit earth.
Rethink:
How many times have they said that an asteroid will come and hit earth? Far too many times. Yes, asteroid have come and hit earth, but they burnt up on their way to earth. Out in space > huge; on Earth > 10-20 cm. Another obstacle they have to pass, is Jupiter. Now Jupiter has hundreds of moons, only around 70 of them are named. Why does it have so many? Because of its gravity around it, its so strong that any asteroid/rock that comes, Jupiter either takes it or flings it back from where it came from.
We have a very rare solar system with a rare planet that is capable to hold life. Everything is in the correct position. All our neighboring planets are like bodyguards for our planets. They all help keep earth around.
Mayan calendar:
Ok, its ends on the 21st (not really, since its a different calendar to what we use, so its like an extra 50 years). Any person can make up a calender for the next 500, 1000, 10000 years. Doesn't mean its the end of the world, its just some story that some random person that no one has heard of made up.
The world will not end. (Unless there's a nuke war, which I doubt will happen because everyone is too "scared" to use it, since they don't want a WW III, why else was it called the cold war.... they all had nukes ready to fire, but they didn't want to start a new war that would end all humanity, you can't live underground forever.)
