A very very nice map, one of the best in my opinion, only because of the effort and detailing put into it. With that said, there are some flashbacks of german like medieval rooves within some of the Japanese pagodos, which would not exist at all. I think that the rooves would require more curves on the edges, and a more slandered rise up to the middle to be more Asian like. The structure and skeleton of each building is spot on. Good job ;)

Update: Completed copying the entire map one bit at a time over to a brand new world and raised upto height 70. Doing this has greatly increased the amount of FPS that I'm getting now. The FPS increase appears to be (for me) around about 100FPS. Please bear in mind that I am using optifine and my PC has an i7 4790K CPU and an HD6850 1GB Graphics Card.

These pictures are to merely show the FPS counter at the top right of the image. All pictures were taken on the same settings with the same specs, the only difference was the actual world.

To be entirely honest, the map looks pretty amazing. In a way, it looks a little familiar, has it actually been implemented to the Survival Games now?

UPDATE:
After having taken a long break from doing constant work on Ancient Japan V2, I have started doing some more work. I have decided to remove the docks that I previously created as it doesn't actually fit in with the map or make any sense so i have terraformed the area and continued the river through the old docks area.

The following pictures show progress so far...

(Red wool indicates where a bridge will be, yellow indicates where paths will be. Please Note that the Yellow wool in the river is just there to stop the flow of water and signifies nothing)

I have also updated the percentages shown in the initial post of this thread as well as including an overall percentage done.
