Nightmares

One night in 3rd grade, I had a nightmare. I still remember it to this day. It wasn't very scary, but back then it was.

In my dream I was roaming around my house at night, and I see a snake in the vase. It looked so big. Then it turned into a demon looking thing (Satan). I remember back when I was young about how Satan turned into a snake and temped Adam and Eve to eat the apples. So I ran around the house, and Satan turned into a lion. He almost caught up, but I woke up from the dream.

I used to have this nightmare a lot where I walked into my house and it was completely infested with giant spiders. Most of them would be dead... but then a few would attack me and I would whack them with whatever I could find.... eeuuughhh.

I also have a lot of nightmares nowadays of teachers turning into monsters or just completely going nuts, etc... One time I had one where my chemistry teacher completely freaked out at me for how my binder was organized and then somehow got me expelled me from school for it. The logic.

I also get nightmares where my relationships get really complicated, e.g., One of my best friends becomes my enemy. Those are always fun hehe...

It's really fun to study dreams. I think if you want to understand creativity and mental development, dreams should be the first thing you look at.

I've had a couple about family members dying, school shootings (I always read articles on them and they sound terrifying so it affects my dreams), war, getting injections (phobias are fun) and one about this weird monster thing that was shaped like a fire tornado. I was creative when I was 8.

I remember like all my dreams. People say it's weird. The one I remember the most was one I had a long time ago. Basically, there were a bunch of tiny little islands each in an area of extremely shallow water, only up to about the top of your toes. The sky was always dark and the air had a green fog in it all the time. On the main island, there was a big black building, that contained a restaurant/club of some kind. In the corner of the island, there was a small shop. It was shaped like a cornucopia. (Not an SG one, an actual one. If you don't know what they are, look it up ;D) Inside, there were things like kegs on the walls, and a small counter at the pointy end. There was one window at the top of the black building. Oh, and there were evil giants roaming around about 500 metres in front of the black building. All the islands were extremely close together, so you could traverse them easily. So my friend and I were in the small shop, and I was barefoot on the cold, stone floor. All the "cool/popular kids" were in the black building, so we decided we wanted to go in. There was a keypad on one side of the building, but we couldn't get in. A kid from my school rode over in police uniform on a motorcycle and told us to stop trying to get in. We got a ladder and climbed up to the window. When we got inside, another kid I know yelled out to the giants, and they came over to us and killed everyone. Before they killed me I woke up. Dark dream, I know.
