Netflix actually has been picking up some pretty good anime lately. Fullmetal Alchemist, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, (Brotherhood is a reboot, and from what I've heard it's better, even though the first was good), Steins;Gate (available depending on where you are), Eureka 7, Attack on Titan, Knights of Sidonia, etc.

Of course they've picked up some crappy stuff to. I mean 'Yamada's first time'? Really?

[edit]: Also (to my fellow 'Dera fan), welcome! I've not seen the most anime here, but I'm pretty active when it comes to anime discussion, and I'd consider myself the best anime critic here on MCSG forums.

At least for me, I love animation and drawing in general. Seeing moving art like that is really cool for me. Pair that with the fact that not only you get some fantastic animation, but also the fact you can get some really mature stories (which is rarely found in western animation.) Another nice aspect is the fanbase for it is pretty large and broad.
