Hey guys,

I come with this question, because I do not know anything about PC specs and stuff, and therefore do not know what video card to buy.

Im looking for a videocard that can run any shaders with 60 fps at render distance 10 and can easily run minecraft at 500 fps (10-15 render distance) without shaders.

The videocard I have atm is the GeForce GTX 550 Ti. :)

Thanks for helping out!

It depends on your processor. However if you're not going to run shaders, 500fps is slightly overkill, plus you won't get 500fps consistently almost no matter what. If you have an Intel i7 or equivalent CPU then you should aim for an Nvidia GeForce GTX 660/760 3GB, which would suit your needs just fine. That's about the setup I have and I can run 300-600 FPS on everything. You should be able to find a GTX 660 3GB for $200-300 on newegg. Hope I helped ^-^

If you need any more help, feel free to hit me up with some more of your specs and I can probably get you a better match c:

I'd also recommend asking Mooclan, who is very good at buying computer parts while on a budget haha

What r ur other specs bud. U honestly probs don't need a card with more than 2gb of vram lol. My friend has a 3570 and 660 2gb and he gets ~80 fps with shaders on decent settings.

I'm actually surprised. My friend with a 3570k @ 4.5ghz and a 7770 runs shaders that badly. Guessing you didn't cheap out on the rest of your pc, right? + what's your CPU at
