The Return of the Lag! (and other things)

Lag's been back for a few days now. People have been swinging right through me, I've been swinging right through them, getting yanked around by the server a bit here and there, etc. Probably already known about, just reporting it.

The new bug I've been getting is that the servers don't disconnect me properly when a match ends. Instead of getting the usual disconnect message, I get the "Server restarting. brb" message, and there's a much longer delay before I'm DC'd. Some players also leave with the generic disconnect message instead of the modified one (with bounty first).

EDIT: Also, a lot of servers (about 40% or so) are coming up "Can't Reach Server" at the moment, despite all of them being marked as up and running on the server page.

Definitely noticing the lag, is occurring on the Aussie servers as well.

There has been a thing happening on the servers that cause them to not restart properly, which is causing them to crash (or something) and not restart. They then need to be restarted manually, by Sub or an Admin.

As for the lag, yes the servers have been laggier lately, and I am sure Sub is doing all he can to find out why.

It could well be, considering the servers had RAM upgrades not too long ago -__-

Ahhh lag, my oldest enemy is back. My weapons are optifine, an awesome computer and Virgin internet. His are Huge, firey maps (why!!!) , dns trouble and server crashes. Who will win? Find out when I try to play mine craft.

Well, they started restarting really quickly for a couple of days and then they just went back to being slow restarts again..
