Hello fellow MCGamers!

I'm here today to rant about something I see all the time in game.

As someone who truly does enjoy the company of the community, I still get annoyed by some of the community members.
These people are always running around the hub, ranting that the Mods, or the Staff Team in general, don't do their jobs regarding hackers. Let me just say this, you're all hypocritical people. You have the audacity to go around and judge the staff team because they are not doing their job, but you are not taking initiative to help them out by either informing them of the hackers, either with /report, telling them in game, poking them on TeamSpeak, or recording them, but instead, you would rather yell at and blame the staff? I don't see how that is fair. It is up to you as community members to help the staff too and make it an enjoyable place for everyone to entertain themselves. Without a group effort to make a change, it's less likely that there will be a visible difference within the community.

Anyways, thank you all for listening to one of my mini rants!

Have a nice weekend!

And you have the audacity to say that someone job as a "community" member is to do the mods job for them? Damn, last time I checked, community members didn't sign up to ban hackers and basically be the 'community watch' of the servers.
Certain members can do it on their own time. But they didn't sign up to "report and ban rule breakers". It's really ignorant of you to assume everyone who insults staff has the time and drive to do other people's job for them.
Also, this is quite a biased point of view seeing as how the majority of your time here is spent with staff.

There is a difference between doing said Moderation duties and taking part in helping out the community. You can relate this to the Cleansweeps. Regular members are always joining the Cleansweeps to help out, this is no different. And okay, yes, I may spend some of my time with the staff, but that doesn't mean I am obligated to report and record these said hackers. Instead, I do it out of generosity and in hope that the negative energy within the community can improve.

This is true. The average member does not have to report hackers, and is under no obligation to do so, but if you're one of those people who does nothing, you have NO right to then complain to us, saying that we don't do our jobs well. It's common knowledge that if you want something to succeed, you must contribute yourself as well or keep all of your thoughts to yourself.

I leave you with a quote from a highly respected person in our world, John F. Kennedy; "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country".

tb to when i was in your channel, you got poked, and decided to ignore it o.o
I vary rarely ignored a poke. I'm an open minded type of person. I believe that everyone's voice is to be heard and taken into consideration when making decisions, no matter the consequences. I'm not the type of person to ignore someone because you could be losing out on an excellent opportunity.
