Multiple U.S. Servers

I have an idea that could possibly be very beneficial. I'm sure this has been brought up before, but I was wondering. Because the United States is such a big country would it be possible for there to be multiple U.S. Servers. Granted there are the C.A. servers which help out some people in the Northeast, but what about people around the mid-west region and the southern states. I'm from Texas and with /ping I tend to get 110 at best and 120+ as the norm. But what if you could host a server or two closer to those regions so you could have more people be encouraged to get on with better connection. I totally understand that it's way easier said than done. I'm just bringing up a possibility.

Yeah I see your point. I would just like some solid.. for lack of a better word proof to not put another server in the U.S.

Everybody in the United States should have no latency problems. If you live in the U.S., there should be no reason to complain unless your router is a toaster. 110/120 ping from the /ping command is about 60 ping regularly, which is very good. Even 110 ping is good enough. We should be focusing on getting service to those who get 200+ ms to all regions and can't even play MCSG. I myself play with 70-80 ping and have never had a single problem with my connection.

That is a good idea for later but for now we need AS or the other region that anyone else want.

My Friends in AS with 200+ mbps down and upload still get 250ish ping lag too much, add AS so they cant have any excuses.

I think the reason the AS servers got removed are because of how expensive the hosting is and the lack of amount of donation coming from the people that play there.
