What's going on guys, it's Hazza and I get asked in a lot of my videos 'How do you get subscribers' or things like 'I've just started YouTube, got any tips?', so i've decided to write a thread giving a few tips for starting up YouTubers! For those of you who don't know me, my channel isn't massive, but it is at a decent size of 2000+ subscribers, so if you are interested please proceed to read this thread!

First of all I would like to say I didn't really have to use many of these tips as I was already fairly known for being a decent player so that gave me a starting boost!

Anyway, here are the tips :

1. Don't advertise places you're not allowed, if you don't listen to me, you will have to learn it the hard way!
2. Enjoy what you are doing, If you are dull and boring in your videos and you don't sound like you're having a good time, people won't have a good time watching. BUT DON'T BE FAKE!
4. Interact with your subscribers! Doing this will make them like you as a person and will keep watching your videos!
5. Don't delete and re-make channels if you haven't hit a certain subscriber goal you set in your mind in a certain amount of time, stick to it!
6. Don't get demotivated off lack of support at the start, you may not get many views but staying active will earn you subscribers!
7. Quality / Quantity, don't upload a video everyday if you don't feel that the game play/content you provided was entertaining.
8. Thumbnails! - If you have a nice thumbnail, it may catch someone's eye and bring them to your channel!
9. Creative Name - I don't personally fit into this category, but I was known as 'ImHazza136HD' on youtube before this 'RealHazza' I quit minecraft and came back and thought it would be good to make a new channel sticking to the identity of 'Hazza', Luckily I still had active subscribers, and I left my 4500 subscriber channel behind, and transfered to my new one!

I hope these basic tips helped, and remember to vote in the poll!
If you any of YOU guys have any tips feel free to reply to this thread with them! If there is one I like that I didn't think of, I will add it to the list!

One thing I personally feel that you missed out, is that a dedicated YouTuber should always have either an upload schedule. It helps the themself and the audience who is watching the channel's videos.

As a person who has, and still is, obsessed over YouTube I realise that a schedule helps the YouTuber be more organised for the channel. No type of audience wants an upload that can happen miscellaneously, it just just unorganised and give off the image that you don't have much passion in YouTube. It also will help relieve stress on YouTubers because those who are dedicated to creating content, have sleepless nights editing, recording and making things for videos and it is most often that their sleeping pattern gets messed up completely.

So that's my addition advice I would like to give. I have a few more pointers that can be suggested soon. :)

This is really helpful to me, at least. I've been trying to hit it big on YouTube for quite a while now, and it was hard trying to transition to an MCSG YouTube (from a Toontown/Wizard101 YouTube I used to manage a few years back). I started my current channel back in March and have about 175 subs at the moment, getting about 100 views per video (almost 40 MCSG episodes + extras), solid ratings, etc. and I've been feeling demotivated lately because YouTube is something I really enjoy doing, but it's been less exciting because I haven't really been able to make it that big.

Nevertheless, this helped me re-spark my waning interest in YouTube, thanks c:

Although I get jealous a lot because I am seeing, more often, at least, a ton of people who have like 2,000+ subscribers, however their video quality and effort is awful. I just don't understand, but I guess it's because they upload actively (something I should do a little more :p)
