Hey everyone... My name is Reclaimer, you can also call me Al if you would like to. Doesnt really matter to me.

Im here just to tell you just be your self know matter how you act or anything. The best felling in the world is when you're your self. You may want to be someone else so people see you differently or like you. But if thats the case than there is no point in hanging out with these people. If you have to act different just so you can be friends with someone else its just not worth it. The 'friends' you act for will never be your real friends.
What does the word friend mean? Friend is a person whom one knows, likes, and trusts. How can someone k ow you if you just acting to be their friend. It may seem that you have stuff in common with them but in reality you have nothing. And last,y how can someone trust you if your just actng? You really dont need fake friends. you all are really amazing people and you can make ton of friends if you're just your self. you may Have alot of things in common with someone who is ur real friend.
You dont need to change how you look just so someone would like you. And if you change how you look for a guy or a girl there is no point. The person will only like you for ur image not for who you really are. And if they like you for who you are and ur acting it will ruin everything. The person might end up hating you for the rest f your life. How would you feel if someone just pretending to be someone else jist so u can be their friend? Im not going to lie, i was a fake person for a while. It was the worst thing i ever did in my life. I lost so any good friends. I lost the one person that i really loved and i cant be sorry enough for what i did. And im here today making this thread just to help somepeople. I know my massage won't get to everyone but if i can help one person, just at least one person i will be haply. I just do just dont you guys to make the same mistake. cOz we are all a big family.

Knowing your point of view makes this all the more powerful.

Having multiple faces is painful and something that I really regret. About 1-2 years ago, I tried to put a fake smile on my face, but all that it did was hurt me in the end. I ended up creating a second personality under the name "Mooclan," because I hated who I really was. Eventually, I just faked it until it became the real, new me. The Mooclan that is able to stand up for himself online became the Alex (me) who's able to stand their ground against bullies. I think I was lucky in that I was able to recreate myself by overlapping until the new blocked out the old.

But not everyone is in a situation where it's a possibility, and that is when it is negative. For me, I was homeschooled for a year, and the only real contact that I had with the outside world was online, where my secondary personality was prevalent.

I used to have a fake friend. A "best friend" actually, or so I thought.
We were "friends" for three years, and at the end of those three years he told me that he actually hated me. The shock was so sharp, that it actually felt dull.
I don't know what made him pretend for so long, but I learned a clear message - faking yourself hurts not only you, but those around you who are affected.

Another story:
I had two friends. Let's call them John and Julie.
John had been a friend of mine for over a year and a half, and I met Julie through a common acquaintance. I found out that Julie and I both played League, so eventually I ended up inviting her to the TS that a bunch of my friends frequently used.
Eventually, Julie came into contact with John. They hit off pretty decently, and they seemed to live incredibly close to each other - some 20 minutes away! As you may be able to guess, they eventually "got together" and considered themselves a "couple".
Some time later, I started to conflict heavily with Julie, because I found her morals and actions to be detestable. We cut communications, but because we had the same ring of friends we still clashed occasionally, and John was sticking with Julie.
Push came to shove, and... y'know what? Here's a quote.

John said:
Some friction started forming between her and Mooclan. It seemed like I had to side either with my girlfriend or my friend whom I've known for over a year. I choose her side. I told Mooclan that we weren't friends anymore, and we didn't talk to each other for a while.

She gave me her phone number and I texted her A LOT. In one month, I sent 2,500 texts to her. My parents started to get suspicious and asked me if she was my girlfriend. I said, "No, we are just friends." I got really scared at that point and was afraid she was going to check my texts. They never did, but it was a really close call.

It was a day before finals. It had been two months since we first started dating, but it had felt like two years. I hadn't studied at all because I was busy texting her. This is when I got the text.

Her: Hey, can you keep a secret?
Me: Of course
Her: I'm a gay male
Me: You are kidding, right?
Her: No, I'm not. I'm really sorry :(
Needless to say, all parties involved left the scene of the crime with severe injuries... not literally, of course. "Julie" turned out to be a guy, and John was left devastated.
John apologized to me, and I apologized to him for how I'd been acting as well. We're on good terms now, which I'm quite glad for.

Because of one person faking who they were for only a few months, several people were affected by it. Heck, a guy who had asked for explicit pictures of Julie was shocked as well... I found that part a bit funny, though, but only that part.

It's fine. I was pretty ticked off myself, but when he found out that "Julie" was actually a guy, it was funny how he tried to cover up because he actually screwed himself over.

I don't remember exactly what he said, but our conversation went something like this: (His nickname was Killcom)

Me: Hey, Kill?
Kill: yeh wassup moo?
Me: Do you remember Julie?
Kill: ya
Me: Well, turns out "Julie" isn't really a girl. He's a guy. And you had a crush on them.
Kill: oh well no i was just tryna get nudes offa him. i knew dat.

tbh I don't really understand why he was trying to get explicit pictures from a guy...
