Leather boots

Hi every1 it's me Troll I'm just asking a quick question why can't you find leather boots plz tell me why and comment down below

Its beacuse leather boots do the same as gold and chain there would have to be in Tier 2 chests and leather in tier 2 is weird

No no no, chain is better than leather, gold is just a tiny bit weaker than leather (because of the durability)

No no no, chain is better than leather, gold is just a tiny bit weaker than leather (because of the durability)

Iron boots give 1 protection the rest (chain gold leather) give 0.5 (and diamond with 1.5). Gold has more dura then leather actually. the only leather armour with more dura then gold is the leather chestplate with about 6 more hits then a gold helmet.

So what if leather and gold have the same amount of armor bars? Don't forget they put bread in Tier 1's and cooked fish in Tier 2's, which heal the same amount of hunger. Saturation is as subtle of a difference as durability.

Well, not exactly...
Armor durability...the chance of it ever running out, even with leather, is very low. I do not believe I've ever had one of my leather helmets break, and only once have I had a gold one break, so I mostly ignore durability.
Saturation, on the other hand...I've learned to always have it as high as possible upon entering a battle. I mostly ignore my actual hungers state itself and simply eat food for saturation. You'll even see me running around just before corn refill simply so I can eat a steak for saturation since I'm expecting battles, even if it heals only half a hunger point. xD


More on topic: Yeah, leather boots don't spawn in chests. Since durability rarely ever runs out, it would seem pointless, since only iron boots give more armor points, thus leather boots would be no worse than gold/chain. It'd be slightly unbalanced.
