The report system does function decently, but from what I can see, it only works in a game. Like Survival Games or TF2.
However due to the large amounts of people that could potentially be reporting all at once; it would be difficult for moderators to respond to them all. But I think they use the reports to keep eye on the specific player, not really making full action when they make the report.

Oh, that's why I just spammed the command for a hacker and nothing happened xD Thought no mod was on...

I'm convinced at this point that if it does work, no one looks at it.

It's also annoying how you can only report them if they're alive in your game.

Pffft, who would stay in game when you die to a hacker? You rage, throw your keyboard from the closest window to you, you go pick it up and come back to try to /report that guy.

Basically, once you use the command, the information you enter is sent to a list in the staff's ban panel. The moderators can then review all the different reports, and decide which ones to check out.

While it's likely that you report will end up going nowhere, moderators will be checking through it when they're moderating and want to do some hacker-hunting, especially when the CleanSweeps are going on. You might aswell use the command, it's better than nothing.
