Since joining the /r/ UHC community. I have had no desire to play MCSG. I will edit this post tomorrow (sometime soon). But MCSG's community compared to others (/r/ UHC) is pretty bad. I'm not talking about the senior staff, or anyone of a staff rank. But the players. All I see is constant hate towards others. And everything is taken to seriously. I mean, just in my eyes. People in the UHC community talked a kid out of suicide. Don't believe me? Look it up! And I just don't see something like that happening on MCSG. Well at least from the players anyways. I'm not bashing on the community. There is some really good people. In fact, one of these days I'm going to list all the name of those people.

Farewell!

Not a full list yet, just working on this thread a little by little.

The /r/ Community has a easier more community based ban system.
The way people are banned, or put on "trial" Ultra Hardcore courtroom.
The process works like this.
Evidence is posted. And people from the community comment in what they think should happen.
Then the Courtroom committee looks over the evidence and gives their first opinions. Then they look at it again and figure out what should be the punishment, or if there should be no action on the accused player. If banned they are out on the "UBL" Universal Ban List. And anyone hosting on the Reddit has to use the Google doc with all the banned players. (Players are usually banned for 2-3 months if convicted.) Something like this should be put into place with all staff opinions. Could help false evidence. And players in the community could help out a bunch, and prevent further problems.

I still talk to TehSteelFlexer, ProHulk, Defresa, Zlim95, and Voltality daily. We all basically for the Reddit Community.
The UHC community is run mostly by people like me. And things tend to run smoother.
I would really like the senior mods, and other staff to seriously look at this. And maybe implement something like this in their own MCSG way.
I don't know if i'm gone for good. I might participate in Clan Wars.
But until then.

Thread is still not done! :)
I think the "trial" process is easier, but it isn't possible. MCGamer has way more hackers, and also way more staff. We do; although, ask other staffs opinions before we ban. Most people just think Sr. Staff just lets us go wild banning anyone who targets us off corn, but we do get opinions on evidence, and we do have a guide we consult. If the reddit community were to all take place on a big server, it would be very similar to MCGamer.

So far There is 300 people ubld and about 500 in the courtroom and the staff seem to handle it fine. I do agree that mcgamer has a lot more hackers though, but instead of talking to staff dealing with everything the ban is all on one post so you can come on the forums check if you have any reports review the evidence then type your opinion.

The process is just different, we have a seperate website which we ask for opinions, and we aren't changing that, since it works fine. Hackers are SOOO much easier to catch, since hackers on UHC use things like xray and nofall. If someone suspects a hacker they helpop it and the host watches. MCGamer doesn't have that luxury. We have around 1000 punishments (mutes and bans) daily, so I don't see how comparable this is.
