They said 'popular demand'
but what if demand is not popular? -___ -
This is the only thing I'm a little ticked off about...
They say it was removed due to popular demand, but the poll clearly states that 56% of people enjoyed it, and most of those votes were probably cast at the beginning, when people were frustrated with the new changes.
I'm puzzled and I am curious as to why it was removed. If an administrator or developer could explain a little more, that would be much appreciated.
The raffle gave a variety to maps that were played, but a lot of people didn't like how one person voted for a certain map and although it had a very little chance of getting picked because 23 others voted for a more popular map such as SG4 or Alaskan it sometimes did. So I guess that is why it was removed?
That argument is about as old as the wheel at this point, haha. People act like the randy with one vote won their map every time, when it actually happens only every 1/total votes.
The way many have come to see it is that Raffle Voting was more liked by people who had more voting power. Most green beans liked it, while most members in the clan community found it disruptive. It reduced the power of the donors to overpower the system.
Either way, I doubt it will be changed back at this point. It would look bad to change the voting system
again.
