Hello everyone, as you all know, MCG has recently been updated to V2. Since the start of this update, we have received various sorts of negativity to this. We understand, yes there are some bugs, glitches, etc. But every server does! We are working at our best to maintain the servers at their fullest, and make all of you happy. People have worked hours, and hours to try and bring this update to life. If you have nothing nice to say, do not say it at all. Thank you.

Hate and negativity should be expected when popular servers update to a v2. People really aren't accustomed to change.

I tried to express my opinion in hub (not disrespectfully), but I got told to keep my opinions to myself. I am an American citizen and I have the right of freedom of speech. I can express my opinion at any given time and place. In chat and you said "don't be rude or disrespectful about MCG v2". I wasn't (like I stated above) and you mods don't have the right to take away that right from me.

My point:

My question is,
Why would you launch a whole new MCG w/ all its bugs and issues, when you have a perfectly well MCG v1?

All we asked for was a stat reset.

When you state your opinion disrespectfully, that is the problem.

Paraphrasing one of my favorite xkcd comics... "The right to free speech means the government can't arrest you for what you say. It doesn't mean that anyone else has to listen to what you have to say, or host you while you share it. The first amendment doesn't shield you from criticism or consequences. If you get banned from an Internet community, your free speech rights aren't being violated."

Usually when something updates to a v2 it is meant to be a better version of its predecessor. They didn't update to add bugs, but did it for us players and our enjoyment

Yes some players just wanted a stat reset, but that would be too easy and boring. Take it like you ask for a scoop of ice scream, but get two scoops instead. :p

Unfortunately, most of the rotten apples don't come on to the forums and read good threads like these, so they will stay rotten.
