Does Teamspeak cause any lag?

So I'm going to be recording MCSG with CitricFusion today and I noticed that when I record and I'm in Skype I get FPS drops. I don't really use TS, and I was wondering how much lag it causes if any at all.

For a bad pc u have damn good stats. Maybe I just suck

I play with everything turned down and nothing open and I get about 60-70 fps at best, but often spike down to about 20, I just have to be really strategic and bow spam and stuff.
Also only play certain non laggy maps, so I only play about 6-8 maps

I used to play like that, thats why my stats suck

Well, TeamSpeak barely causes any lag for me. It uses about 5x less than Skype. Here is a picture of my Task Manager. It shows how much memory each program uses. Skype is the program that says "Skype". Teamspeak is on the very bottom so it's easier for you to distinguish the programs. Here it is:

Try Curse Voice, my friend dragged me into using it and it doesn't give me as much fps lag when I am using Skype. It may still be in beta and mainly targeted for gamers who play games such as LoL or WoW, but I personally feel the difference Hope I helped!

Might give that new program a try if TS doesn't work out.

Teamspeak just makes me get lower frames which causes me to lag.. It's very unfortunate, but I don't play much anymore so it's fine for just catching hackers.
