Wrong. It was supposed to be temporarily removed so the builder and staff could look for all the OP items on the map. The more they worked, the more the map maker got fed up with how many OP items they found. So he chose to keep it permanently off the servers.


I was a staff member at the time.

So is there a possibility of a re-add. or it this QA;TL

I went and had a chat with Dave about it, and said, I didn't think the map was particularly well built, I'd much rather them take Wyvern's wake off the servers and put another much higher quality map on the servers. That map was Alaskan Village. As for Wyvern's wake? Well maybe I'll fix it up at some point maybe i won't. May I ask moderators too keep this thread unlocked so I may gauge what people's opinions are.

So you are the builder of Wyvern's Wake. Awesome. As you can see, everyone loves your map! The terraforming is really good, the way it's put together is really good, it's just a good map in general. Alaskan Village is also a good map, but, please, we really want Wyvern's Wake back and as of what I understand, you're the one who can do something about it.

If you won't fix it up, would you be willing to give someone else permission to? There would be an overwhelming amount of support for having it back on the servers.

If someone else wanted too, then by all means fix it, just send me a copy of the final product before it's posted on the forums.

Ill do work on it this weekend. Just need someone who knows where the OP items are.

One first step would be to replace all furnaces on the map with fresh, empty ones. Pretty easy with WorldEdit.

The owner of the map was supposed to remove the OP items on the map, now he doesn't want it on the servers, so someone has to get his permisson to put it back on there

I too loved Wyverns Wake. We'd consider putting the map back on should we be given a new version of it without any of the aforementioned issues..
