I personally recommend default edits as you want the most FPS when you are fighting so you don't just lag around head snapping, however, if your computer is good enough, nothing is stopping you from using some high res resource packs such as Viperbite, Rathax etc. Sure, you can use high resolution texture packs if you want the game to be good looking, but I like either or and I love seeing creative texture packs, textured or default.

I heard that Twilight Zone was bannable, I could be wrong though.

Well, however, here's my list:

Default:

1. Not to seem full of myself, but I like my default edit [Download]
2. LovePack V2 [Download]
3. Huahwi's Default Edit [Download]

Textured:

1. BiboyQG's RP [10/30/14] [Download]
2. I wouldn't recommend Rathax if you don't have the best computer [Download]
3. Huahwi's is a classic [Download]

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the lightmap and it falls around the gamma issue.
