In my opinion is the community not that bad, people do just look at the negative things and doesn't see the positive, like the friends you are making or the actual good times you have, when you first think of mcsg you think of hackers, that is just because its a dramatic situation.

I remember the few times you kill a over stacked 2 team and get the rush with happiness, that is MCSG for me. A way to get away from the rough life and enjoy your success.

I would appreciate regular announcements of random rules every five minutes or so in the hub...
Ex:
*5 minutes passes*
"[MCGamer] Make sure you know the rules! Don't bypass the swear filter!"
*5 more minutes*
"[MCGamer] Don't forget to read the MCGamer rules! Block-Glitching is not allowed!"

^^ that'd be pretty awesome and a good way to raise awareness of the lesser-known rules.
Nice idea

It doesn't help, trust me. Even if it does, it's for a very short period of time, and what needs to be done is something that will give a long lasting result, such as improvement in the anti-cheat plugin, and not a short lasting one like this "operation".
Yes. These work. There have been over 200 hackers banned, and, from what I see, the hacker counts have dropped dramatically. I don't think you are looking at the whole picture.

Oh my god where do I have to start...

First of all it's nice that something is actually done about the EU community, which Guinness should consider as the region/server with the most hackers you could ever wish for, but from my perspective I still experience a heck ton of hackers, every game I've played in had at least 2-3 hackers, which I still see it as no improvement.

Also, I remember reading in a lot of a threads where people complain that nothing is being done about the rule breakers, where mods show the amount of hackers that have been banned per day, and if I do not mistake, it was between 1k or more players being banned or something per day (Which I really doubt, but then again that's what we are being told), and a good amount of those players banned are hackers. So yeah, if your operation that took a week managed to get 200 people banned, it isn't quite impressive.

You need to keep in mind that everyone you think is hacking isn't necessarily hacking. Also, keep in mind that it is extremely difficult catching hackers, and it isn't easier without no support from the community.

You don't believe that we ban about 1,000 users daily. Let me prove it.

Maybe we could add something where a book is in your inventory with all the rules, or something like creative. I don't know if you have been there, but every 3 minutes or so it goes "Please do not advertise your plot more than once per minute."

I don't know if MCGamer has any intentions of limiting teams, but we might make some servers where teaming is disallowed.

Indeed. Right when I first got mod, I loved moderating TeamSpeak. After a while, more and more trolls come to TeamSpeak. I still enjoy moderating TeamSpeak, but it has got increasingly difficult. I can assure you we will be trying our hardest.

Our devs are working on something to help limit trashtalking, but I cannot really say anything more than this.

I personally enjoy chilling out with you guys, except we do have to be serious times too. And, to be honest, the reason you don't see much staff in game is because we are in /d or in GameMaster (which makes us invisible).

Regarding targeting: If someone just follows you are a map, it isn't targeting. If someone is going server to server following you, it is targeting, which falls under the harassment rule.
yeah I saw a thread chad made about this awhile back, but it seemed like so many ppl were against it... but I'm not sure why really. What is wrong if some people want to play solo sometimes? It's not like anyone is FORCING them to play solo, they are still welcome to play on the normal servers.

Yeah, I don't know why either.
