I just found out Transformers Age of Extinction is out, so I noticed some things. Firstly, every old actor they had from the start (or any good actors), they just replaced them with some actors that are just over-acting and not really playing that good the role they have. Of course, as every other Michael Bay movie, repeated, annoying and over-edited explosions... The first 2 movies had a story, but the 2 latest movies are just too random. In my opinion, the Transformers sequel is just going to crap.

What are you opinions on this?

just going to tag Mooclan incase he decides to do an awesome, half-paged essay about this

Well, I was actually forbidden from watching the Transformers movies. I watched the first one with my best bud, but then when the second one came out I wasn't allowed to watch it, and I just never even noticed the third one came out until everyone was like 'oh yeah transformers 3 came out a year ago'...

From what I remember, the first Transformers movie didn't particularly stand out to me, but as a 12-year old boy I was still like "ooohh, explosions!" and "ooooh, Megan Fox!" (LOL)

To be honest, and this is MY opinion, every transformers movie starts off good and just goes down hill from there...

Funny you mention that. I'm usually the one forbidding/discouraging people from spending their time and money with such shlock.

That being said, I think that even Michael Bay has stopped caring about making Transformers movies (which sucks for him, because after the first movie, he was contracted to direct seven of them). If you're still looking to the Transformers movies and expecting any semblance of artistic value or quality entertainment, you probably also beat your head against brick walls as a hobby.

Remember: "Cinema Sins's Everything Wrong With Transformers: Age of Extinction" needed a two part video.

That being said, Transformers is a fascinating example of shameless cash-grabbing. There is very little artistic or literary merit to the films to the point where shots are confusing and the plot doesn't make sense within its own universe. However, they are loaded with product placement, focused on visual spectacle, released to reach mass-market saturation, and panders to patriotism (both US and foreign thanks to the burgeoning Chinese film market).

And despite how shallow the films are, they make money. Every. Time.

I also suggest everyone watch Honest Trailers: Transformers Age of Extinction.

Michael Bay is like Microsoft. He takes stuff little kids like, and turns it to a money-grabbing machine that every fanboy watches, despite it being so lame and boring.

I like them :3

Transformers are assosiated in my entire childhood, I have a box full of their toys, I used to watch every Transformers episode from the television, I honestly loved all of the movies, the latest one was random, but you know I like movies that get my heart pumping x) the dinosaurs could've stayed away, they were random, yet cool.

But I agree, the movies are momeymachines filled with explosions, that twelve-year-olders watch. Although I'm 15, I still love the movies, mostly because they were so big part in my life when I was a kid.

One thing I love about them though, is how they associate history with the movies :3

I've seen the other ones and they can be alright for some mindless entertainment, but I don't even think I'm going to go out of my way to watch this one. It wasn't well received and if I want some Transformers fun I would be much happier to play Fall of Cybertron, which is a really great game.
