I've had similar experiences to you before, however through the situation I was in, it was pretty much abuse, like, intense abuse that didn't look pretty. And a good handful of people sided with the "Abusers" when this happened, lacking the realization towards what they are doing, and it's practically cyber-bullying. I was fortunate enough not to have raged in-game, nor in real life, because it could have caused me more than enough trouble than it was. And it also happened in another server, so despite me reporting the situation, the only response I've gotten from moderators was to simply "Move on" or "Ignore them" and they've also said to simply keep an optimistic attitude. But since this happened when I was a little younger than now, I was gullible and followed the advice, and hadn't realized how badly the situation was handled upon the moderators.
However as I followed their advice, I've always felt like it worked, because a good amount of disrespectful people I've come across were simply to see me "rage". Of course following that manner, they ended up being somewhat the victims of rage, and as psychopathic as it may sound, I enjoyed a good laugh or two watching them like that, because I've known well that despite them being who they are, they have absolutely no right to be so disrespectful over the internet, so it's good to give them a taste in their own medicine.
And I can understand your situation completely, a lot of people are being too disrespectful, unfortunately. And if they don't add your name to the abusive comments they make, then they could potentially get away with it, because it wasn't targeted at a specific individual, but despite your evidence, it is legitimate, and it would seem pretty self explanatory that they targeted you with such disrespect since you and the other three were the only ones in the server.
It also seems that one of the disrespectful people were actually a platinum donor. Which is quite odd because they paid quite a large sum of money for in-game ranks and some pretty interesting perks, only then so they can believe that the rules don't apply to them? There has been donator rules that specifically state that you must follow all general rules even as a donator, we are still a community and do not deserve to disrespect others over it. I've had an experience with some donors before, and what was quite odd was that they casually state quite rude comments about me, and his only excuse was simply because I have a high standard when typing, a majority of the time of course, and that in a manner, I've had somewhat of an attitude of a moderator, according to his perspective.
I would honestly suggest that if anyone says these sort of things to other people in general, targeted or not, it is already considered as a very obnoxious act to perform, and I would recommend at
least a 20 minute mute, to teach them not to just say those sort of thing like it's nobodies business, it's quite unpleasant seeing those things happen too.
But what does cause people to say such sort of things? I mean, it would seem in a way reasonable enough excuse to say that they were in the heat of the moment or were simply getting really competitive, but I don't see why they think they have the right to say such sort of things, and in no way do they have a right to abuse other people like that because of merely a video game, what's perplexing is the fact that some people think that Survival Games is such an important aspect towards their life, of course I respect their perspective, but they have no right to stuff it in other people's faces. Survival Games was specifically for people to have fun and enjoy themselves. Not about getting the most wins, it's not like they're even going to get close to Gr4veYard or Huahwi any time soon, so they should simply relax and enjoy themselves. And as great of pvpers Gr4veYard and Huahwi are, they are also pretty respectful, and great individuals in particular. And I have high doubts Huahwi goes "Lel gg10 git rekt nub l2p" to all the players he's killed does he?
But what I would think that a lot of people who could say those sort of things could potentially be youthful individuals who still don't know what it feels like to be in our position, or they could simply be grown psychopaths. Unfortunately they practically keep on coming just like hackers.
However, rest assured that the MCGamer network is doing absolutely great, it is just some people out there don't make it an enjoyable time for many people.
But you can always talk to me if you need to, or even moderators for simply getting some support and not reporting them, there are still people in the community who care, although I don't provide the best solutions, you can always talk to me. ^-^
EDIT: Also, I'm really sorry if it is too long of a post to read, I guess I had too much to say, but I hope I didn't waste any of your time if you did read it, have a nice day!
