Would this set up be alright for a gaming/ internet browsing computer?

As said, I want to get a computer that can play the latest games without lagging IMMENSELY, but I'd also like to browse the internet too, so would this do the trick?

All i know is that it is good for minecraft, cuz i have Intel i5 processor with 4 Gigabytes of RAM and my FPS is 120 on regular, 60 on maximized.
Should work with other games without lag and still browse fine.

I have to disagree with toby. As much as how Minecraft is CPU intensive, it only eats RAM (nom nom). It won't run as fast on other games. It will run smoothly on Minecraft. Not very smooth on other games.

Oh, then what parts would I want to switch out to make the other games run smoothly?

Get a Nvidia GeForce GTX graphics card, they produce great performance and quality.
The selected CPU is great for gaming, (i5), 8GB's RAM is also good. You might want to get windows 8 as I've heard that boosts up FPS more than windows 7.

Alright, Nvidia has been good to even my junky old computer that I have now, so I'll definitely get that. Plus one of my other friends told me I should switch to Windows 8 too, so that will work out :>

Thank you for the help, if there's anything else I should change, just let me know.

I will ask one more time. Does minecraft work on Windows 8?

When Chad first used the beta version it did lag his Minecraft immensely, but that was quite a few months before they officially released it so that was probably fixed. I'm still staying Windows 7 though because I'm rebel.
