You are succumbing to the media's trap of 'islamaphobia'. Yes, ISIS are Muslims. But they are extremists who represent a tiny MINORITY of Muslims.

These people believe in the shunning and murder of all 'non-believers', much like that of Al-Qaeda and the like.

But let me reinforce that they are the TINY minority. I'm sure all you New South Welshmen in Australia have heard of Bankstown. I live and work there every day, and only ONCE have I seen ANY sign of Muslim extremism, which is in a place where 60% of the population is Muslim.

Look, I'm not saying that there won't be attacks on Australians because there ALREADY has, but to go so far as to fall for the media's trap and think you're going to be beheaded by any Muslim is just absolutely absurd.

To further elaborate on the media's power and influence, think of it like this. Over the past 3 months, we have been drip fed bad information in regards to Islam as a whole. The problem is, it's not the whole of Islam that is doing these horrible acts, but again the TINY MINORITY. But because the media has spoon-fed us this information, we are made to believe that it is the whole of Islam.

In order to remain objective, I will include a quote from the Quran that is in hindsight promoting the death of non-believers. Do not take this as what all Muslims believe. The Quran is a book of interpretation for them, not a way of life which is what ISIS believes it is.

Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"

This quote and many others is what the media is focusing on and spoon feeding us, in order to make us 'islamaphobes'

To finish this post off, I will say that I am a Christian, who is currently studying the Muslim religion as a part of his Studies of Religion course to finish school. These are the facts, whether you want to believe them or not is up to you.

It would be interesting to know that there are between 1.2 to 1.5 billion Muslims around the world, and between 15%-25% of them are extremists, so that leaves us really with approximately 300,000,000 Muslims being extremists, the side of the United States, so yeah, although it is a minority, it is indeed not a small one...

Remind me when an international census goes around where people tick the box that says: are you a radical Muslim?

15-25% is an extremely stretched minority, infact it hardly is a minority at all. 300 000 000 is over 12x the population of Australia, so if there was that many Muslims that were radical I think we would all have personal experience with them.
