OMG!!! A Staff Member that cares about the server. I can't believe it. Did I read that wrong?
GREAT IDEA!!!
Sadly it's true. It's lovely that an effort is being made but it's not going to solve anything. What we really need is anti-cheat improvements and changes to the rules/protocol.
Tbh I do agree with your statement here, the only issue I could see is what if the mods are getting a recording software soon? Or they could record and their computer broke? I think you are right but I would also add to give them a bit of time to fix it, since just banning them straight out would be unfair. I assume you meant this but just didn't write it down <3Demote all the mods that "can't record", they're just being annoying and its for no good to have them.
Sometimes we can't record for a few reasons:Demote all the mods that "can't record", they're just being annoying and its for no good to have them.
This all comes back to the complaint, what is the point having a mod which is "useless" if they can't record that means they are unable to fulfil a large part of their job/duty. I find this quite annoying since I go on teamspeak and poke about 3 mods that there is a hacker in my game, and 1 - 2 of them just ignore me (or are afk which is quite regular recently) and the other says they cant records. Though I do understand that sometimes mods can't record and even if a mod can't record there are other jobs that they can do, its just it is an extremely large part of the job/dutySometimes we can't record for a few reasons:
- different computer which is underpowered
- laggy internet
- broken computer
Demoting anyone who can't record for any of those reasons sounds a bit unjust, right? There are other mods to get, too.
I'm not saying that's the point. I was saying you're welcome to poke them. As well as saying you're welcome to use the report abuse section. It was a statement, not saying you have to poke them in those hours. What's the point of poking certain Moderators in a certain channel where as I could just poke any mod on TeamSpeak when that's their job right?
