Fishing Rods

Of course on my map, fishing rods are probably the most lethal thing you can get.

Yes, i kind of agree with you, but i don't.
I am not saying to take out fishing rods, just putting a cap on their amount of use to say, 10 hits?
I only brought this up because just lost a second game on breeze island DM because the person would just run around with fishing rods hitting me back as they jump into the water. With the durability currently on a fishing rod one fishing rod took 5 minutes (death match ended) to break. And i had a lot of arrows, but in my cases if they had good armor hitting them with 7-10 arrows in a row without some spectator getting obnoxious is a real challenge.

If it was possible they could nerf fishing rods in deathmatch! (Kinda like flint'n steel)

Well, if people are beating you because of using their fishing rods skillfully, maybe you should take advantage of them too?

Nah they aren't beating me, i never die to them, they just run out the DM time and cost me the win.

Trust me, at times I HATE fishing rod kids on water.
They have saved me too though. I took out 2 diamond sword guys in open water on breeze island thanks to fishing rods,
I would hit one back, then attack the other. They can be annoying, but they can help.

Exactly! That is why i don't want to get rid of them, they help at times but hurt at others. I never use the rods more then 10 times, but they always seem to be broken against me. That's why i don't want to get rid of them, just have their durability tunned down a bit like flint'n'steel.
