Stats reset- Yes

We all know the score in the vote for stats reset and it looks like it is going to happen. I personally dont want it to happen for the same reasons that everyone else is stating. Lets just say it does happen which most likely it will, we shouldnt all have temper tantrums and quit. There is nothing we can do if majority votes yes. Instead we should look at the brightside of this. Sure we will all loose our wins and all that time we spent into getting them but I would be happy that People actually get a chance to have a chance in getting a spot in the leaderboards. If everyones stats reset the top players will most likely stay the top players forver unless they all quit. That means that no one will ever have a chance to get anywhere. Wouldnt you like to have a little fun in trying to have a good spot on the leaderboards. This will have all the great players who deserve a spot on the top a chance. Many good players have have enough time at the top. The great players will have their spot sealed on the saved leaderboards so they will not be forgotten for all the hard work they put in. Truse me I dont want the stats to reset but I decided to creat a thread that is not like all the others since the polls are so far apart. Im not going to creat a thread arguing about something that will most likely not happen. Dont give me hate for this but we need to be prepared for this and we cant all act shocked if it happens.

I am all for it now. I have been going back and forth. I can see why some people really don't want it. Like if they just bought a stat reset, or if they are really high on the leaderboards. But, for the players that joined well after the V2 release, it is a chance for them to prove themselves. I am one of those people, so I am in favor of it now.

The thing is, aren't the old leaderboards still be around for people to show their statistics? Also, they could get a screenshot of their stats to show off in their signature.

This is the selfish opinion of many. In favor of it purely because it increases your chances of a high rank. When I joined it wasn't easy to get high on the leaderboards but I did it. I didn't need no stat reset...

But you're being selfish by not wanting to give up your wins and give others a fair shot at a good rank...

After looking into this debate pretty intensely I have come to one conclusion: everyone is only looking out for themselves and wants to benefit from the decision one way or the other (people on both sides are guilty). I think everyone needs to take a step back and look at what is most important of all: what helps mcgamer grow and stay relevant.
