My Story & Goodbye ~huntarr

Last year around October, I found the MCG server. I would occasionally play a game or two every day and continue on with my homework. October, during the weekend, I got more into Minecraft, and started to play MCSG more often. That's when I met my first group of friends: lisniss, EddyCrafts, NICK_KEMP, and Rider__. We talked just about everyday, and I remember I would stay up until like 3am on school days, just to have someone to talk to. Months went on and I got a little bored of talking to the same people, so i decided to become better friends with other people: Berry_Nerdy and NerdyFlames. That was probably the best decision of my life. Through them, I met my best friends in the entire world, ZombifiedMind. I haven't gone 3 days without talking to her since the day we met, and I couldn't have asked for anything more in a friend than what she gave me. Months pass and we're still online playing MCSG like there's no tomorrow, and I was having the time of my life, but at the same time, I was seriously struggling with some real life issues. Before you judge me, perfect yourself. On Valentine's day this year, I came out as gay. I got so much harassment, and so much hate, but Marina, ZombifiedMind, helped me through it all. She introduced me to a great group of people, and I still talk to most of them on a daily basis. Their igns are: iamamitbar, kevinsthenerd, shanaynay_bruh, mccluremariah, EhCanadianBacon, HeWhoMustEatCake, TheZercon, Buttney, and eventually Swishy_ joined in too. I don't know what I would've been doing with myself by now if it weren't for these people, and I'm so thankful for them.

Now on to the leaving part. I'm not leaving the community, I'm leaving the server, as I think it has gone downhill. I think that there are way too many hackers, way too many tryhards, and way too many jerks that play now. I miss the old days when I didn't see this side of the community, but unfortunately, the only way to get away from it, is to leave it. You may see me around occasionally, but I probably won't be playing to win any games, but to have fun with a few friends. With recent talk of leaderboard resets, I don't think playing to win will be worth my time, as this will only draw more hackers and tryhards to the server. As for my YouTube, I may continue to upload, but it won't be on the MCG servers.

I hope I left on somewhat good terms, with as few people as possible hating me. Leaving may not be permanent, I just have to see where life takes me. I love you all, and I hope that you respect me, and my decisions. Goodbye! <3
