What is going on?

I have a question for all of you fellow Sgers out there: What the hell is going on? In this short rant/essay, I will ask you guys all a good question: What is going on?

The Hackers
So it seems that there has been a freaking giant influx of hackers. Lets not also forget about the teams of hackers. Every 4 games on average, I will see a hacker. In the summer it wasn't this bad. Yes there were SOME hackers, but not this many. The hackers have gotten me very frustrated and annoyed at their antics.

The Teamers
Now I wish I was lying or making this up, but I'M NOT. I just wanted to record a few clips for a montage I was making, but every single game there is a 3 team or more. I'm not exaggerating which is the sad part. I'm able to kill a team of 2-3, but a team of 4 and more is where I draw the line. I'm not freaking Huahwi or any of you MLG pro players out there so these teams are very hard to fight. I recorded for 6 games, and there was some sort of team in those games. This isn't bannable just to team and even I team, but a team every game is kinda annoying. This has been happening for over 2 weeks.

The Tryharders
Nuff said. Chased by people off spawn when the only thing you have is a leather helmet. -.-

In conclusion I want to ask one question. WHY? Why is there an influx of hackers? Why is there a crapload of teams? AND WHY IS THE BACCAS COMING BACK TO TRYHARD US?!!! I just wanted to know if there was a reason for any of the increasing number of these people. In summer, I understood, but its the freaking school year! There is no rational explanation.

Sorry If I offend any mods, but I just want to know why the increase of these people.

I understand your frustration and everything but there have been more than enough threads like this. We all know the problems and we are all doing out best to fix it. These topics are some of the most talked about topics on the forums. I feel your pain but nothing more can be done.

I agree with the person above, what is complaining going to do about hackers?

Get a recording software, record sufficient evidence, upload it to youtube and report them.

Teams are always going to be there, so you might aswell get over it.

Tryharders- what is so bad about trying hard at something?

I think a reasonable answer to your question is- with nearing 3 million players that have joined MCGamer, there will be an increase in everything. For hackers, we just need to deal with them as a community and record them. It is the only way.

Just get a recording system, like Bandicam and record the hackers. If everyone does this we can reduce a great amount of hackers.
With the teams, just get over with it. It's fun to team. Even you admitted that you team and there's nothing we can do about it.
Lastly, tryharders are not that bad. Maybe you might've got a diamond or iron chestplate from spawn, they chase you so they can be more stacked.
You should think about what you post. There's been several threads about this and the mods are trying their best to ban the hackers but 'we' have to record the hackers first.

Not everyone can spend 30 minutes rendering a hacker video, as well as keeping the ~1 GB of space it takes on your PC harddrive. Some people can't even render. You have to remember, not everyone in mcsg has a gaming PC that gets them over 100 fps. edit: Ok, I dare you to go and play a game with a 4 team in it (won't be hard to find), and win. Then go and try to win when someone chases you off corn for an iron chestplate they can easily get off the OP route on any map there is.

The staff is doing their absolute best to handle the hacker issue. I know we all say that, but they really are. In fact, there has been a recent Xime update which added some new automatic hacker detection features which should definitely help

You could also record and report hackers here to help the staff out with banning hackers

As for the hackers and 'TryHards', there is no exact explanation, to be honest Teaming has, and likely always will be a part of the game, and even though teams are a challenge to fight, it's really not something that I can ever see stopping. I totally see what you mean- I have a hard time fighting teams too (heck, I have a hard time with one person ) but it's just something we all have to adapt to. People are just trying to play with their friends when teaming, and they don't see it from the same perspective as we do fighting them.

It's really all about adaptation and tolerance. By tolerating, and adapting to the people who make this game harder, you can potentially improve your skill, and even if that's not the outcome, it's a part of the game, in the end, no matter how bothersome

The Hakcers:
As long as there is MCGamer there will be hackers. We as mods do our very best to control the situation but the fact of the matter is, there will always be hackers. We come up with better ways and better plugins to combat them but then there will always be ways that they get around it. It would be a huge help like DuckLuv said is to report them. Everyone in the community should be willing to be able to take the extra couple of minutes to record and report a hacker. The amount of players to the amount of mods we have its physically impossible for us to catch every hacker on the server.

Teamers:
As far as people teaming goes its part of the game. The game is based on the movies and in the movies people form alliances, in fact we encourage people to team and have fun. Face it, teaming makes the game a lot better. I know its frustrating to be killed by a 4 team but theres nothing that can be done about it.

People Going Try Hard:
I mean this is just ridiculous. Saying people go try hard is just getting mad at people who are good at the game. I understand its frustrating but its just a game and its not the end of the world if you loose or if you die.

Actually, solo servers (hopefully) will be making so people can play games w/o getting 3 manned every game they play..
