SSD opinions

So im going to be buying an SSD soon and have a few picked out and would like to no you guys opinions o witch one I should get (I pretty good with about everything accept SSDs )
So here are the SSDs

If you want the best performance ( The fastest one ) go for the intel, if you want to spend less money, get the kingstone one it's decent aswell.

Honestly, don't even waste your time nor money on the Kingston. For SSD's, it's better to pay upfront for speed, reliability, and quality.

In which case, I'd suggest that you go with the Samsung EVO of those choices. According to Passmark, the Intel and Samsung have equal performance scores, so go with the cheaper one. The EVO series is a good mainstream-grade series and is much more common in addition to being the better deal. If you really were willing to pay up for the Intel, I'd suggest upgrading to the Samsung Pro SSD series.

Also, if you're part of Newegg's Promo newsletter (a really good idea, btw), know that the Samsung EVO series goes on sale with coupons pretty often. I'd suggest signing up if you haven't already and waiting for a good promo deal. You could net that SSD for $30 less than it already is.

Do note that SSD's are usually 2.5", whilst standard HDD's are 3.5". Your SSD should come with a space adapter in case your case doens't have a dedicated section for 2.5" drives.

And yeah, it's as easy as a standard HDD. Some SSD's even include software that will migrate your OS and Data from the HDD onto your SSD. Might have been Intel only, though, but it's simple enough to do yourself as well.

Ok so I just plug it in and download the operating system and it should start making things run faster? If its that easy that's great. I've heard you have to unplug the hdd and plug it back in after you download the operating system is that true?

Works pretty well, except mounting it was a nightmare. I think that 256GB should also be a max. I only store Windows and core files (Ex: java, adobe) on it.

Definitely the 840 evo by samsung. I have one, it's 250gb and it boots In like 8 seconds flat.
Installation is easy, just make sure you boot to your windows install disc/USB and make sure you select the 840 evo to install it on.
