Besides possessed bunnies and whacked out PVP, I would say that the blocks are beautiful. I enjoy 1.8 as a whole, but I am rather laggy, as as Optifine has yet to come out, I will continue to play on our servers under 1.7's motherly wings.

I had recently started a survival world on my new computer, I restarted in 1.8. I actually just found a water temple, I'm in no position to attack it but I kept the coords for later.

Once the weekend starts, and I can play more, I'm starting my own survival world (first since 1.4), so it should be a ton of fun

Hate it. Lag, rod and bow are zoomed in wayyyyyyyy too much, and blockhitting is broken. Not using anything higher than 1.7 until name changes

Ikr. I tried playing in 1.8. At first, when I played in singleplayer, I didn't have any lag, but when I just went on a simple SMP server with like 2 people on, I have 10 fps with everything fast .-. And oh god the blockhitting is just awful...
