As a player who Livestreamed Minecraft for two to three weeks straight recently, here's some tips that I find helped me:

- xSplit or Open Broadcaster Software are the best free softwares for livestreaming, although xSplit does have a paid version which is much better for streaming Minecraft specifically.
- Make sure that you have a good computer that can run Minecraft on at least 60-100 frames average, and the higher the better.
- Set up everything in advance. Your mouse, audio, and video settings, special hotkeys for things like stopping and starting streaming, playing a commercial or "BRB Screen", etc.
- Get a banner of some sort to show over the livestream, such as one that has your name/YT/Other Social Media
- DO NOT expect to get a ton of viewers instantly.
- Having a second monitor or computer that you can view the livestream on helps a lot, so you can have the chat open to type in it and/or make sure the stream isn't super laggy or low-quality.

I personally use OBS (Open Broadcaster Software), as it works best with my computer. It's a lot simpler, more straightforward, and doesn't have any of those things where you click on it, thinking that it'll work, and then it says, "Nope! You gotta pay to use this feature! Trollolololol!!"

Oh, also. Just some general things for livestreaming:
If you don't have a really active Twitch chat that you can banter back and forth with, I recommend getting one or two funny (yet respectful) pals that you can livestream with, so that you can keep a continuous commentary running.
Having too many people (Personally, 2 loud people or just 3+ people in general) makes it get really hectic and chaotic, and can be quite confusing and, well, annoying to the viewer. For that reason, I generally keep the the IP of the teamspeak that I'm on private, so I don't have viewers randomly dropping in and causing a racket.
And I don't mean to offend squeakers by saying this (I have nothing against squeakers) but try to generally avoid having a higher-pitched guy with you, otherwise it gives off the impression that you and your friends are younger and possibly less experienced/serious about the game, plus a lot of people find squeakers annoying to listen to.
However, on the topic of people with higher-pitched voices, having a girl livestream with you is a lot different than having a male squeaker, as the majority of gamers are hormonal teenage boys, and having a female is generally something that attracts attention.
I'm not saying "Girl = More Viewers", but rather its an accepted Internet concept (I think the word is dogma? Not sure) that it can often be that way. For example, on League of Legends, its proven that if the streamer is a girl, their livestream gets more total views, even if they are a worse player (for example, a Gold 5 as to a Plat 2.)
